Cookie Policy

Which cookies b-comm.io uses, what they are for, and how you control them. Drawn up in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021 and Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003.

Last updated September 19, 2026·LBD S.r.l.

The short version: this site uses technical cookies only and does not profile you. There is no Google Analytics, there are no advertising pixels, and we share nothing with ad networks. The banner exists so that you know that, and so that if we ever add measurement tools your choice is already recorded and respected.

01What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device and that the browser sends back on later visits. It exists to remember something: a preference, a session, a choice already made. Similar technologies — such as browser local storage — serve the same function and are treated here in the same way.

Cookies differ by who sets them (first-party, if by the site you are visiting; third-party, if by another domain), by duration (session cookies, deleted when the browser closes; persistent ones, with an expiry date) and by purpose, which is the distinction that actually matters.

02The categories we use

Strictly necessary technical cookies

They make the site work and keep it protected. Without them the pages would not function correctly. The law does not require consent for these, but it does require that you be informed: that is what this page is doing.

Preference cookies

They remember choices that improve your experience, such as the language. On our site the language is handled by a technical cookie, so this category is currently empty: it stays in the panel for transparency and for the future.

Statistics cookies

They measure how the site is used, in aggregate. We currently use none. If we introduce them in future, they will only be activated after your consent, and this page will be updated before they are.

Marketing cookies

They build advertising profiles and serve personalised ads. We do not use any and have no plans to. The category appears in the panel so that you can see it stays off.

03The cookies actually set

NameSet byWhat it doesDuration
NEXT_LOCALEb-comm.io (first party)Remembers the language you chose, so a later visit does not start in the wrong one. Technical.Session
bcomm_consentb-comm.io (first party)Records your banner choice and the date you made it, so we do not ask again. Technical.12 months

cf_clearanceCloudflare (third party)Set only if you pass a security check, so it is not repeated on every page. Technical, security.Up to 1 year

The Cloudflare cookies appear only when abuse protection engages on your request: on a normal visit neither may be set at all. Cloudflare acts as our processor and does not use these cookies for profiling. Its notice is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

04What is not on this site

  • No third-party analytics (neither Google Analytics nor equivalents).
  • No conversion pixels from advertising or social platforms.
  • No embedded third-party content setting cookies without your knowledge: fonts are served from our own domain, not from an external service.
  • No sharing of data with ad networks or data brokers.

This is not a statement of principle: it follows from how the site is built. If it changes, this page changes first.

05Managing your choices

You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of use already made on the basis of the consent given.

You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Bear in mind that blocking technical cookies may prevent the site from working properly.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage website data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & security → Cookies and site data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

If you close the banner without choosing, no non-necessary cookie is installed and you will be asked again on your next visit.
